Head of Accommodation, Sales and Events.

Your new company
Is a large and prestigious educational facility in the centre of Oxford.

Your new role
You will be charged with the fast paced and exciting role booking and running commercial events at multiple sites in the Oxford area and within so, driving an increase in annual revenue, in addition to maintaining and growing the established commercial operation. You will also have responsibility for managing accommodation for students and for internal and external events.You will also be ensuring that a comprehensive service is provided for all events. Income generation and strategic planning will be key to the role in line with also providing an efficient and professional service at all times.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a proven ability steering strategy and business development to deliver significant revenue growth. You should have had significant sales and event management experience within the hotel sector or a similar with specific experience of managing an accommodation operation.You must also be analytical and be experienced in short and long term financial budgeting and forecasting with strong reporting skills. You will also need experience of managing a diverse team effectively, and be comfortable with preparing and delivering presentations to a multitude of parties at different levels. An essential part of the role is that you will require a proven ability to translate creative ideas into practical solutions, whilst anticipating potential challenges and preparing contingency plans for the future.
