About the role

As Retail New Business Manager your job will be to liaise with a wide range of organisations including high street retailers and manufacturers to source donated stock for our shops and stores.

Your role is hands-on and you'll be tasked with delivering our comprehensive strategic plan from setting up new mutually beneficial partnerships, co-ordinating all of the operational aspects to monitoring and evaluating activity and reporting both internally and externally.

You'll be working closely with our shop and store colleagues as well as with other fundraising functions across the charity.

About you

To be successful in this role you'll need to be creative, able to think outside the box and to generate new commercially viable ideas. You'll also have excellent customer service skills you'll use to ensuring the BHF brand is promoted well to our partners.

You'll also need to have:
* A broad B2B business background with a proven track record of success against targets
* Excellent communication skills,
* The ability to build strong and lasting relationships with key stakeholders
* The confidence to approach new contacts to build up our donations

You'll also need to have strong organisational skills, able to work on numerous projects at any one time and ensure that key deadlines are met and exceeded wherever possible.
