Digital Marketing Executive – PPC Location : Altrincham, Just south of Manchester – commutable by tramOffice setup – 3 days in office, 2 from homeSalary: Up to £40k base plus pension, healthcare, etc.

With this role you’re going to be looking at the acquisition marketing channel covering PPC and wider Digital Marketing.

Working in the Growth Marketing function you will take ownership of the top of the funnel and the acquisition channels (PPC). Ensuring bid strategies are on point and ROI is being delivered. This is going to be really important as some of the key terms can be really quite pricey and fiercely competitive. So you’re going to want to ensure you’re getting a decent return on that marketing investment.

This role will also take ownership of the strategy and execution of their Paid Social strategy too. Which social channels, what bid strategy, ad placement, etc. Effective measurement and optimisation to ensure ROI is delivered.

The other part of the team is CRM, while you aren’t going to be responsible for the day-to-day CRM activities you will get exposure to that experience.

About the Business

The business you’ll be doing this for is a financial services specialist. They’ve been around for a long time and service the needs of principally SME and SOHO markets. Their target audience tends to fall through the cracks of mainstream financial lenders.

They have operations based in the UK and Asia, and currently stands around 500 people. They business has recently appointed a new CMO who is undertaking a revamp of the company’s marketing strategy and created new position, of which this is one of them.

You will be reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing and be a part of her marketing team.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Creating Performance Marketing campaigns in order to drive offline customer acquisition (Hands on with PPC)
  • Overview the capture of online leads and how they’re managed through the funnel.
  • Lead on PPC. Setting tasks & objectives in order to drive the right volumes, converting at the right CPA levels
  • Work with the Head of Growth to devise a strategy for performance marketing and how to best implement it within the business

What we’re looking for:

  • A digital performance marker with a credible background in delivering b2b and b2c lead and acquisition marketing objectives
  • Experience overseeing 7-figure paid media budgets and their optimisation – across PPC, display, paid social, etc.
  • Experience creating and managing an acquisition strategy across Digital channels
  • Experience with SEO would be beneficial.
  • Lived experience in a regulated environment such as telecoms or Financial Services would be beneficial
