Are you an experienced Connected Care Solutions Business Development Manager/Account Manager based in the North of England or Scotland and looking for your next sales role? This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic Connected Care systems manufacturer on a rapid growth trajectory.

A worldwide manufacturer specialising in Connected Care systems are looking to hire a Business Development Manager to be responsible for promoting the company’s full spectrum of Connected Care products, managing the North and Northeast region. The company has established a strong presence in the region and is set to surpass its past performances. Despite existing positive relationships and partnerships, there is significant untapped potential for expanding the current turnover.

This position will also require the salesperson to maintain strong relationships and consistent communication with the company’s regional distribution partners, which will involve keeping them informed about new and current product offerings.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Increase sales within the North of England and Scotland region by engaging with both existing and potential customers, and actively seeking out business opportunities in the connected care solutions industry.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers, delivering consistent high-level support, and create personalised account management plans for key clients.
  • Meet and uphold designated KPI targets and collaborate with the Sales Director to craft long-term business strategies.
  • Record all relevant information in the company’s agreed ERP/CRM system and follow up on customer quotes and update the provided CRM system.
  • Assist the company’s specification team with project-related information.
  • Develop strategies to surpass individual targets.
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of competitor products and strategies.
  • Full hand over of existing established accounts from current channel salesperson who has been promoted.

Account Manager/ Business Development Manager will have the following skills and experience:

  • Hold a minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in field sales/technical function, connected care solutions.
  • Be experienced in B-to B sales to public and private sectors, ideally gained within the connected care industry.
  • Have good knowledge of connected care products and the market.
  • Have completed formal sales training.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Teams.
  • Completion of education to GCSE level (achieving a minimum of 5 GCSE’s) or its equivalent.
