We're seeking an experienced Research Grants Officer to join our busy Research Funds team. You'll process applications, maintain the grants database and respond to queries from researchers. You'll also liaise with applicants, Committee members and peer reviewers.

A fully experienced administrator capable of working independently, producing accurate work to tight deadlines and without supervision, you'll be able to use a complex database and provide high levels of service to senior members of the scientific community.

About you

You'll ideally be in a similar role for a grant awarding charity or not-for-profit organisation. You'll be a highly organised team player, with the ability to problem solve, use financial and budget information and communicate effectively.

You will also be able to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. You should be customer focused and have a professional approach to work, managing deadlines, prioritising effectively and working productively with minimum supervision.

About us

When you work at the British Heart Foundation, you become a part of medical history. Part of a world leading organisation that has played a role in decades of life saving breakthroughs, from heart transplants and pacemakers to stents and clot busting drugs. And we're not about to stop any time soon. We are here to beat heartbreak forever. To stop heart and circulatory diseases devastating families. And if you want to help us get there sooner, you could be the Research Grants Officer we need.

How to apply

To apply for this role please use the apply button below. Our process involves submitting your CV and supporting statement, which should outline your interest and explain how you meet the role's criteria.
