Marketing & Planning Strategy Manager – up to £75K plus Bonus – Hybrid (London) – Regulatory/Gaming

My client is a large global entertainment group, where given back to the local community is at the heart of what they do. Having developed ground breaking technologies, where player protection frameworks have been built – their aim is to be one of the UK’s most inclusive organisations.

As a result of an internal promotion, this role has become available ??

Sitting within the Brand and Marketing functions, you must be comfortable with the planning and strategy side of brand (where you’ll be empowering correct delivery of campaigns by others).

Your role will be supporting the consumer-centric strategic marketing planning, ensuring that brand management delivery objectives are met and aligned with the company’s commercial growth strategy. This is a critical role that will deliver against licensing agreements and working collaboratively with a number of stakeholders, not only in marketing, but other teams as well as finance.

Key Responsibilities

·Support the Head of Marketing Strategy in shaping the company’s Brand Management Plan and the annual consumer plan, helping identify strategic initiatives

·Contribution to setting marketing KPIs

·Supporting the HoMS in creating marketing investment cases and other forms of assurance in accordance with the license.

·Running critical governance forums e.g. marketing effectiveness steering group

·Recommend improvements/strategic changes following performance reviews

·Able to organise your own busy workload across long and short term projects but have the ability to respond to adhoc questions from varying stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

·At least 5 years experience in marketing project management and go to market, as well as marketing planning and operations (either agency or client-side)

·Regulatory body experience – with an appreciation of the importance of developing brand plans e.g. desirable exposure to Advertising codes of practice and the gambling commission

·Experience in brand evaluation and understanding of brand metrics to understand the impact of the plans and identify optimisation opportunities

·Problem solving and critical thinking

·Strong stakeholder management

·Clear demonstration of media effectiveness measurement (ROI)

·Exposure to agile marketing practices.
