The Role

Digital Tonic are thrilled to be working exclusively with a Financial Planning and Investment firm in South Bristol who are looking to bring their Marketing in house. We’re hiring an experienced Head of Content Marketing who will lead the Marketing department, manage a Digital Executive, and will ultimately work together to deliver new leads and acquire new customers.

This is a hugely exciting time for the company as they push on with their next stage of growth. You will be given the trust and freedom to set the strategy and plan as you see fit, and will conceptualise and execute omnichannel campaigns targeting high net worth individuals. This is a niche audience, and you will bring ideas and creativity to find ways to identify prospective customers, as well as the content and approach to engage with this audience, and to nurture them until they ultimately agree to a meeting.

You will have previous experience with writing and producing financial focused content across multiple platforms including Web, Social and Email. You will also utilise the relationship with the external PR agency. Having a strong Digital Marketing Executive supporting you, other channels that will fall under your responsibility include SEO, PPC, Paid Social, as well as managing the CMS and the HubSpot CRM. You will find there is a strong brand already in place, a good database of contacts so there is so much potential to work with.

Knowledge or an interest in Wealth Management and Investments will be highly advantageous as this will be key to everything that you do. This is an incredible opportunity to build the Marketing function in your own image, and there are further opportunities to progress and add to the team.

Skills and Experience

• Proven campaign management experience acquiring new customers

• Experience working within a regulated financial industry

• Knowledge or interest in wealth/asset management

• Broad knowledge of digital channels including Email, Social, CMS, SEO, SEM and Analytics

• Highly driven, ambitious, and with a growth mindset

• Strong copywriting skills

• Excellent verbal communication skills

• Good knowledge of Google Analytics and other data tools

• Driven and passionate about growth
