Job Title: Temporary Digital Content AssistantDivision: Communications DivisionSalary: £30,497 (Pro Rata)Contract Length: Initial 3-month basis

General Information:Our clients Communications Division (COM) is at the forefront of promoting the organisations values, programmes, and events. The dynamic team leverages press and media relations, publications, publicity, public relations, and robust website management to enhance the client’s visibility and communications strategy. They are currently seeking a Temporary Digital Content Assistant who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about visual storytelling.

Role Overview:As a Digital Content Assistant, you will create engaging multimedia content and maintain an active digital presence. Your primary focus will be to produce and promote content for the client’s website and social media channels, highlighting the client’s role and work to a diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities:• Plan, produce, and edit high-quality video and photography for various platforms.• Support events with photography and video services.• Curate multimedia content in the client’s digital libraries.• Run social media accounts and manage the content calendar.• Publish content on the website using CMS.• Maintain camera equipment inventory and ensure its upkeep.• Create social media graphics.• Foster relationships with key stakeholders.• Innovate ways to promote the client’s work digitally.• Be willing to work out-of-hours as needed.Education:• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in broadcast journalism, digital/media/video production, PR, marketing, or related field.Experience:• 2-3 years in a similar role.• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and camera operation for high-quality video production.• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Drupal, and WordPress.• Strong organisational and time management skills.• Creativity and excellent communication skills.

Desirable:• Experience with paid social media campaigns, Adobe After Effects, Google Analytics, social media analytics, Hootsuite, HTML, MailChimp, SEO, accessibility, UX design, and working in complex organizations.Competencies:• Respect for Diversity: Commitment to equality and understanding diverse perspectives.• Working with Others: Collaborative spirit and information sharing.
