On behalf of a rapidly expanding, supportive, construction consultancy with offices nationwide they are now seeking a PR and Marketing Executive to join their Colchester office and bring their marketing in house.

PR and Marketing Executive Responsibilities

The successful PR and Marketing Executive will increase the clients profile across various social media platforms. You will be required to travel around the various UK offices to get content for Press Releases and website updates.

The PR and Marketing Executive:

To be successful in this role, you must have strong experience with Press Releases (PR) and strong writing skills, portfolios are welcomed.

  • Implement new marketing plans, digital platforms and strategies
  • Identify opportunities to promote the business and build brand awareness
  • Implement a social media and PR strategy
  • Manage PR and social channels
  • Create engaging content
  • Performance analysis on digital channels
  • Market research and monitoring
  • Assist with maintenance of external website, ensure content is accurate and up to date
  • Analyse effectiveness using Google Analytics
  • Ensure compliance with best practice
  • Evaluate returns on paid for ad campaigns
  • Oversee Google AdWords and SEO
  • In house graphic design for online and offline channels
  • Quality Assurance and consistency
  • Film and edit video content
  • Create templates and content for email campaigns and monitor response rate
  • Lead marketing campaign, involving client reviews and questionnaires
  • Deliver projects in a timely manner and ensure effective communications throughout
  • Report on project campaigns
  • Assist with researching and producing award entries, tender and bid documentation and analysis following guidelines and managing timeframes.

To be the PR and Marketing Executive you must have:

  • 2 years experience within a related role and dealing with local, national and trade press
  • Previous experience producing web content and managing social media
  • Graphic design experience
  • Excellent content and copywriting skills
  • Technically proficient, adept at picking up new software’s
  • Proven skills in design software – e.g. websites and documents
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle
