Function Overview

This is an exciting time for the Professional business unit of Dyson. In 2017, the business unit expanded to add Lighting and Consumer categories to the established Hand drying business. The Professional business unit spans all these categories selling in over 26 countries. Over and above the Dyson objective of 'solving problems that others ignore', the Professional vision is to; 'deliver amazing technology experiences to existing and potential owners outside of the home'.



Accountabilities

  • As our Global Senior Brand Manager you will be responsible for developing and delivering the global brand strategy for new and existing Dyson Airblade products
  • You will collaborate with the Product and Technical teams within Commercial Marketing (Claims, Insights, Legal) to ensure that the specification of our products will enable the product to succeed in our global market. This will mean that you are working with our marketing teams around the world to gather insight and market level feedback
  • You'll also ensure that our Airblade products can be successfully marketed at a global level on time and to cost
  • As the Global Senior Brand Manager, you will be seen as a thought leader, and you will develop global campaigns that will help scale the Airblade brand through future growth
  • You will be working closely with the New Product Communications team to ensure that brand messaging is developed in alignment with the wider Dyson categories
  • Working with our global markets, you will ensure that local and regional plans and insights are incorporated into the wider Airblade category strategy




Skills

  • Coming in to this role, you will have held a strategic brand management or brand building role for a market leading business
  • You will have extensive experience of driving product strategy on a global scale, and have experience working with international markets
  • As a proven people manager, you will come with extensive leadership experience and a track record of developing talent
  • You will have been at the forefront of driving customer engagement and thought leadership within your recent roles
  • You'll also have a proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and deliver results through aligned business functions
  • As our Global Senior Brand Manager, you will have the ability to challenge the status quo, and deliver innovating solutions to the problems that we face
