Our group agency client, based in the heart of London, are on the lookout for a business development manager to work on building new and exciting opportunities to complement the already impressive list of clients that they work with.

You’ll be instrumental in developing new business opportunities for our client, working closely with senior directors, the managing director and group managing director.
The client is looking to engage and develop new and exciting business relationships through a range of approaches. You’ll be tasked with making contact with new prospective clients, following up on initial introductions with a view to opening up the right channels for engaging those new business opportunities.
You’ll work closely with the marketing manager, researching and targeting through individually tailored correct methods for each prospect. You’ll work with other divisional members strategies, supporting them where possible.
You’ll be responsible for lead generation, working in a collaborative, open and transparent way with other marketing team members, working together to find the best way to present the company. The agency is keen to maintain and uphold a good reputation in their specialist sectors.
The client is looking for skills in writing, this is for content which will be used for developing business and for new and engaging PR and marketing campaigns for the agency.
You’ll be responsible too for the CRM, updating client and prospective client details.
The agency is looking for a client focused consultative business marketing and development professional, someone who understands what’s expected when it comes to conducting new promotional campaigns and introductions.
You’ll need a good command of current as well as new techniques, you’ll be able to innovate when it comes to strategic sales processes. The client will expect accurate keeping of records on the CRM system for all to see.
You’ll come from an agency environment within a business or marketing background and a proven track record of generating agency based sales opportunities resulting in circa £250-£350k annual revenue. You will come with a degree education gained in marketing, business or suitably experienced in the development of new business, with a proven background to demonstrate and have worked across more than one specialist sector and be keen to develop your career as well as personally.
