About the role
Narrative and Strategic Content is a growing practice area within the agency, and its our clients intent over the coming year to commercialise this further through increasing the number of clients who buy this part of their offer. The primary role of the Business Development Consultant is to drive the commercial success of Narrative and Strategic Content. 

It is a strategic commercial role in nature, and the ideal candidate will have built a strong network of contacts in financial and professional services and have demonstrated an ability to leverage that network. He/she will be accountable for growing the pipeline for narrative and strategic content work; doing this effectively will mean becoming fully conversant in the types of communications challenges our clients face, how we work with them, and the nuances of our offer. We believe it will be important for the candidate to immerse themselves in the work of the practice. So, whilst communications consultancy work would form a secondary aspect of the role, they are looking for someone with the skills to do this, supporting individual projects where time permits. 

Your previous experience may have been in financial PR but you are looking for a more creative environment. You could be from a Corporate Reputation agency background also a traditional design or consulting agency background within the B2B sector.

Key to being successful in this role will be to have the ability to build relationships with other referrers such as investment banks, lawyers, brokers and financial PR agencies.
