- Marketing Assistant
I’m working with a fantastic employer who have a great vacancy for a junior marketing assistant to join their ranks.
The ideal candidate
You’ll be a grammar pedant, with a hatred of all spelling errors. You’ll be highly organised, with a genuine passion for all things content and marketing. Most importantly, you’ll be hungry to learn and grow a career in the marketing sector. Your degree will be in marketing, PR, communications or similar, and you’ll ideally have done a placement year or internship.
The role
This is a busy role, with plenty of room to grow and progress, with daily duties including:-
- Creating content for use on social media, the company website and in emails
- Updating the CMS (Wordpress)
- Updating social media using tools such as Tweetdeck, Hootsuite and Buffer
- Involvement in the creation of offline collateral such as flyers etc
- Organising events, with the opportunity to occasionally attend these
- Ordering and managing merchandise
- Email marketing
- Updating the CRM database
- General, day to day admin
This position presents a great training opportunity for the right, junior candidate. It’s key that you’ve had exposure to a marketing environment and it’s key that you possess excellent copywriting/content skills.
Due to the location of the business, ideally the successful candidate will be a driver.
