Head of Brand and Marketing Services

An opportunity has arisen within one of Europe’s largest Asset Management firms, as Head of Brand and Marketing Services. As part of a busy team of highly motivated, professional and friendly Marketers in a grown-up and autonomous environment, you would be responsible for leading the marketing services and brand function, brand strategy and positioning the organisation as an investment management industry leader in international markets.

The role will oversee the operational execution and expression of the brand through the visual identity, delivering best-in-class marketing and other collateral, both on and offline.

Responsibilities of Head of Brand and Marketing:

  • Strategic and operational lead for the management of the brand and visual identity
  • Brand champion, working across the organisation to reinforce the importance of brand in terms of client experience and internal values and behaviours
  • Manage a team of six responsible for media planning, advertising, design, production, including translations, and presentations
  • Design lead, responsible for the visual identity and its consistent use across all collateral on and offline
  • Coordinate, design and produce corporate, product and capabilities marketing literature for all channels
  • Overall responsibility for B2B media plans and budget, working with marketing colleagues to support the marketing strategy for each channel and audience segment
  • Owner of the presentation library, including design and supporting technology

Profile of Head of Brand and Marketing:

  • Experience managing brand, design and marketing communications within Asset Management in the UK and internationally, for multiple client channels, in multiple languages, both online and offline
  • Management of the design and production of marketing communications, including presentations and pitches to clients and prospects’ 
  • Preparation of integrated  campaign plans demonstrating innovation and commercial awareness
  • Management of media buying and advertising
  • Track record of managing and driving significant marketing budgets
  • An understanding of investment management businesses, the competitor landscape and the regulatory framework and requirements Understanding of the adviser, consultant and customer journey
  • A track record of enhancing the customer experience, including use of digital
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, proofreading and an eye for detail, and the ability to build compelling PowerPoint presentations
