The company is a £multi-million professional services consultancy providing specialist advice to a wide range of blue chip and medium sized companies. Currently going through a significant growth phase, they are ambitious to strengthen their head office sales team. As a result they are now keen to recruit a team of Business Development Managers who can make a real difference to the business.
Reporting into the Director of Sales, the focus of your role will be to generate new leads to grow profitable revenues for the company. This will encompass building relationships with partners over a sustained period of time to identify new sales opportunities i.e. new products, new market sectors. Managing your own region and building client contact networks to grow sales, you will also represent the company at trade shows, industry functions and relevant corporate events.
To apply, you will have B2B sales experience in a professional services environment. At interview you will be able to demonstrate experience working with Board members and senior Directors and you will currently be operating successfully with in a sales role. Knowledge and experience of manufacturing, engineering or IT sectors would be useful, coupled with good communication and presentation skills
