A unique and exciting opportunity for a Venue Sales Executive to join an independent, iconic, high-end venue.

THE VENUE

Based in North London, this stunning venue has venue hire capacity ranging from 10 - 10,000 with both indoor and outdoor space. They have organised and hosted a range of events from meetings, weddings, and corporate events through to exhibitions, festivals and live shows.

Offering a consultative service they strive for high standards and excellence at all times for every client. Priding themselves on having a fantastic venue and an experienced events team flexible enough to carter for all types of events.

THE ROLE

This interesting venue is now looking for a Venue Sales Executive to join their team and play a key role in converting enquiries into events through developing relationships through reactive and proactive sales. You will be a central point of contact for all clients and enquires into the venue as well as supporting the events team.

Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for;

  • Following up all inbound enquiries via email, telephone and the website
  • Proactively identify new sales leads
  • Researching organisations and potential new markets
  • Conducting site visits
  • Liaising direct with the client at all times
  • Putting event proposals together
  • Briefing the event team on the proposed event
  • Working with external suppliers
  • Being on-site at events to greet the client
  • Taking post-event feedback

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for the Venue Sales Executive role you must come with similar experience within a venue and ideally have been in a flexible role where you have been responsible for pulling together all areas of an event from enquiry through to delivery. You will have a proven track record of consistently achieving targets.

Most importantly you must have great planning and communications skills and have the confidence and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
