PR Senior Account Executive - Account Manager
My client is a delightful Award Winning Lancashire based PR agency which has an exciting opportunity for a PR & Social Media Account Executive to join their friendly and down to earth team!
The agency works on a great mix of consumer and B2B clients (50/50 split) including: education, charity, engineering, food and drink sectors. You will need to enjoy the variety and challenge that being an all-rounder brings. You'll need to be able to work to deadlines and make the complex accessible and interesting.
As an agency set up by an ex-journalist, strong copywriting skills are a must… other essential skills include media relations, event management, social media management, client liaison and ideally project or account management experience.
Your role will involve building relationships directly with clients, understanding and meeting their strategic objectives. They are constantly challenged to come up with new ideas and you will be too.
They believe in looking after their people, playing their part in the community, making a difference for their clients - and having a good time while they are doing it. They are members of the PRCA and encourage all their team to take part in their training.
Skills and experience they are looking for:
- At least two years' PR experience in agency or in-house
- An ability to write good clean engaging copy - often from quite technical sources
- Strong attention to detail
- A good confident talker
- Someone who can work under pressure and to tight deadlines
It would also be great to show:
- Experience of using social media
- Knowledge of social media reporting tools
- That you're a team player
