Marketing Manager - Events and Digital Comms

Due to growth, this leading network of independent girls schools is hiring a Digital and Events Marketing Manager with solid digital and social skills for one of their South London schools. You will be reporting into the Director of Marketing and Communications and you will be given a high and varied workload, so it is essential that you are the kind of person who thrives at multi-tasking and you are able to stand up to the challenge of excellence.
As their Marketing Manager, you will be working across the full marketing mix, with a particular focus on digital and social activities along with a mixture of events (print production, set up, promotion and coordination) Essentially you will be tasked with promoting the school brand and identity to their community of parents, pupils, alumni and wider audience. A huge part of your role will be content creation, curation and optimisation. You'll be the kind of person who can spot and produce high-quality content, marry it to the right social media channel a and drive engagement and CTRs.
If you are a forward-thinking innovator who has a sophisticated understanding of the content marketing landscape including SEO, Analytics, video production, basic HTML, scheduling tools, best practice, creating, editing and publishing content then this is going to be a great role for you.
Finally, because this role is abed in the education sector, you will also benefit from having lots of time off during the school holidays. This means that you will be working for around 9 months of the year yet still paid for the full 12 months.
