The candidate will be required to support the development and execution of the corporate communications strategy, involving both internal communications for the Betway Group.  We want everyone to enjoy working at Betway as much as we do. At the same time we have a great story to tell – so building our profile and reputation externally, linked to our values and underpinning our business model, will be a growing element of our delivery over the next few years.  In order to do this you will be required to support the creation and development of innovative and cohesive programs both support and drive our overall communications strategy.  

Purpose of the role

To embed our company’s vision and values through managing and delivering the internal communications activities, to support the company in having an engaged and productive workforce and a positive external brand image.  

You will be responsible for:  
• Delivering and contributing to the internal communications strategy in conjunction with the Corporate Communications Manager
• Ensure weekly and fortnightly messages are distributed on all communication mediums, including Pulse (SharePoint Intranet), Yammer, TV screens, posters etc.,
• Ensuring all content is in line with the company values, and our key messages, and that the execution is innovative, informative and compelling
• Storyboard or translate ideas to the Creative department
• Use social media to communicate with staff internally
• Create, and on occasion deliver presentations at organisational events
• Draft messages or scripts for senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken form
• Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and departments
• Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages
• Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organisational perception and reputation
• Work with Managers to give regular business updates to the the organisation
• To manage content as appropriate on social media channels (i.e. LinkedIn, Glassdoor), to ensure the Company’s culture and values are promoted positively to potential employees.
• Drive forward the organisations CSR initiatives including the management of our charity partners
• Direct the workload of team members in regards to internal communications and events
• Work with HR department to measure employee engagement levels using insight to deliver incremental improvements
• Assist the organisation in targeting appropriate external recognition for its work through Awards and Conference speaking opportunities

You will have:
• Experience in writing internal corporate communications
• Experience of working within a corporate communications environment
• Experience in project managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in building effective relationships with all levels of stakeholders
• Experience in maintaining an intranet site
• Experience in delivering innovative ideas
• Experience of developing targeted and engaging content for websites and social media channels
• Experience in a similar position within a dynamic organisation  

It would be a bonus if you also had:
• Industry experience
• Experience in writing internal corporate communications
• Membership of a professional body e.g. CIPR or IOIC
• Demonstrable CPD portfolio from the above organisations
