Marketing Manager

VMA is currently working with a very well know consultancy company. They have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to help design a best in class marketing programme to help influence existing and new customers of their new innovative direction. As a business they have invested a substantial amount into creating industry leading technology to support their core business and this newly created role will lead the promotional marketing for it. There is a focus on creating thought leadership content and devising effective multi-channel campaigns to reach the target audience.

The responsibilities of the Marketing Manager

  • Help to develop and deliver the marketing strategy for 2018 for digital product/service marketing
  • The development of assets to promote our individual products, services and partnerships, including social media content
  • The promotion of our digital incubator and idea accelerator
  • The development of best in class global thought leadership campaigns that can be showcased to help others better understand what good looks like
  • Work closely with the marketing teams in the business to align their content to our digital strategy and visa versa
  • Measuring and analyzing the success of our marketing activities to adapt where needed

Person specification for the Marketing Manager

  • At least 6 years’ experience in a full mix marketing role with at least 2 of those being at manager level
  • Experience of, or at least an understanding of, matrix professional services organisations and the nuances these bring
  • A creative mind with excellent copywriting skills that can find the angle in a story
  • Previous experience using influence to how other marketers and non-marketers think
  • Demonstrable examples of where your marketing activity has directly impacted new sales opportunities
  • An understanding of how to design and articulate a customer journey and the ability to translate that into a campaign plan
  • CIM qualified
