Senior Marketing Manager - Markets

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Marketing Manager to join the Investment management arm of one of the world’s largest Financial Service institutions. This role is part of the Global Marketing function which is focused on supporting the strategic and revenue growth priorities of two Global Businesses: Commercial Banking and Global Banking & Markets. You will drive the development and execution of global marketing plans for Markets that fit into and support the broader client-segment marketing strategies.

Responsibilities of Senior Marketing Manager, Markets:

  • You will work closely with business and marketing partners, develop and execute integrated marketing strategies and plans
  • Ensure any marketing plans for the solution suite fully align and integrate with the Global Business / Commercial Banking markets marketing plans
  • Be the subject matter expert on the strategic product or solution area (including FX, Fixed Income and Equities) and within the marketing team
  • Drive and define global messaging & positioning for the specific solution suite in alignment with the broader GBM / CMB messaging and positioning
  • Lead the delivery of the marketing plans for the solutions, including sales enablement and internal marketing
  • Determine, establish and use appropriate financial & non-financial metrics to assess marketing performance. 
  • Review and approve all global and local tactical campaigns relating to the solution suite to ensure alignment with global marketing strategy
  • Ffacilitate and lead the process of identifying relevant industry issues to drive thought leadership / intellectual capital development.

Profile of Senior Marketing Manager, Markets:

  • Extensive broad based marketing experience within a Financial Services or Professional Services based institution
  • Marketing strategy & planning experience in a B2B environment
  • Deep understanding of Markets products, FX (transactional, eFX, Algos, Overlay, etc.), Fixed Income (primary and secondary credit and rates), Equities (e.g. Prime Finance) and Global Research.
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong project planning and management skills
  • Self-motivated to cope with the demands of a multi-geography environment
  • Good understanding of technology developments and emerging consumer and industry trends.
  • Proven ability to inform and challenge leadership teams and peers
