Job Title: Digital Product Owner

Location: Whitley / Gaydon – Hybrid (1-2 days in the office per week)

Rate: £55.34ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £41.70ph PAYE

Employment Type: Contract (Currently financed until March 2025)

Hours: Standard 40 Hours Per Week

Job Description:

Global Financial Services (Global FS) plays a key role in managing the operations of its External Financial Services (FS) partners globally in order to ensure they provide wholesale and retail finance/insurance products which meet the needs of our customers, retailers and National Sales Companies (NSCs).

The purpose of the FS Digital Product Owner role is to ensure the Financial Services Digital Strategy is clearly defined and fully integrated with our client’s core “Modern Luxury” Customer Journey. Reporting to the Head of FS Commercial and Digital Performance, the role will require working closely with our client’s internal departments, NSC’s and FS Partners to pro-actively drive vehicle sales and customer loyalty through financial services digital enhancements.Personal Profile:

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and lead delivery of key capabilities within the Global FS Digital Strategy to ensure being digitally enabled, seamless, branded experiences to improve the customer journey experience and increase car sales/ customer renewals.
  • Manage, maintain and continuously improve existing FS digital portfolio across the Top 20 markets in collaboration with the Markets and FSP’s.
  • Our client owned Digital Customer Journey Platforms and ensuring financial services content are integrated into our client’s Core Customer Journey/ platforms, including DX, Configurators and “OneApp” Customer Portals.
  • Define FS Functionality and System integrations to support and manage delivery with Commercial Team, NSCs and FS Managers.
  • Insurance and Ancillary Services Digital Customer Experience – define and manage delivery of integration of Insurance and Ancillary products within existing digital portfolio and future e-commerce developments.
  • Product Management – tactical and FSP – define and manage delivery of Global FS Digital strategy for e-commerce integrations alongside Commercial CX team, NSCs and FS Managers.
  • Deputise for Global Financial Services Head of Commercial and Digital as requested.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:Essential:

  • A detailed knowledge of retail and fleet and Business Financial Services products and services.
  • A strong understanding of Financial Services digital channels.
  • Have worked in development environment.
  • Track record of working with multiple Internal and External Stakeholders and Development Teams to deliver e2e journeys.
  • Thorough understanding of API structures and development best practice.
  • Product Owner or Solution Architect experience.
  • Ability to translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical requirements and vice versa.
  • A strong understanding of the Financial Services industry and our client’s brand values.
  • Knowledge of digital delivery and latest digital platforms.

Desirable:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of FS is desirable but not essential.
