Senior Digital Marketing Executive

2236 - Senior Digital Marketing Executive – London – Perm - £30-35K (plus bonus)

Our client is a leading media, entertainment and technology event company who due to continued growth are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join the expanding team.   

Job Purpose:

The Digital Marketing Executive will be a creative and digitally minded marketer who will be fundamental in driving our client forwards from a digital marketing perspective. They should be able to easily demonstrate their knowledge in core platforms such as Facebook Advertising and Google Adwords.

They will share best practice for organic social media marketing. They should also be a quick and keen learner constantly self-teaching, ready to learn new platforms and sharing knowledge with other team members.

They will support the campaign marketing team on digital initiatives such as extensive Facebook and Google Adwords campaigns. Working with the Data Insight Manager they will use Google Analytics and other platforms to provide stakeholders with updates on campaigns performance.

They will market our clients online platform, driving subscribers, working with external agencies to improve the UX, distributing the e-Bulletin and marketing products including whitepaper campaigns, webinars and banner advertising work with DoubleClick account.


Lead all digital paid social advertising and Google PPC for our client and support and educate the campaign marketing team

Lead on organic social media campaigns, demonstrating best practice, new creative ideas and trailing new social tools and platforms.

Responsible for All UX and SEO across all websites, and any new layout pages, being a CMS superuser across all systems and also making proactive solutions to the business.

 Responsible for tracking online activity using tracking codes / pixels and providing report to others.

Marketing our client from a marketing perspective, and driving subscribers constantly reviewing and adjusting the customer experience to drive results, and reporting these results for the regular publishing meeting.

Responsible for marketing products including webinars and whitepaper campaigns and providing weekly reporting on the results.

Key influencer in supplier selection, system setup, design build, for the following services working with the Data Insight Manager and Head of Marketing on final decisions.


Experienced and qualified digital marketer (with 2-4+ years’ experience)

A great educator and communicator

A creative at heart, with strong eye for design backed up with ability to use basics of photoshop.

Social media maestro demonstrating creative best practice

Strong ability to prioritise and multi-task

Organised individual with strong attention to detail and consistency across all mediums

Ability to work calmly and efficiently to tight deadlines and under pressure

Demonstrable use of an EDP (Adestra, Marketo, Dotmailer, Campaign Monitor)

Experience of Google Analytics

Demonstrable use of Facebook Advertising

Desirable Skills:

InDesign / Photoshop user and ability to make simple re-size / small adjustments to files quickly on the fly

Understanding of basic HTML code

Ad server experience
