Your new role
As an Assistant Trade Marketing Manager with LEGO, your job is to drive the best brand experience at retail to engage and inspire shoppers and consumers. You will plan and execute retail activations with 3rd party retailers with an omni-channel approach to ensure LEGO stands out in an engaging and impactful way. You will utilise consumer, shopper and retail insights to inform and develop retail execution plans, working closely with the LEGO sales team and 3rd party retailers to understand the best ways in which to communicate at retail. You will implement your ideas in-store, on-line and in catalogues to create an exceptional brand presence and will be responsible for managing both agencies and budgets to ensure effective implementation.
What you'll need to succeed
You will utilise your understanding of Marketing in the Retail landscape in order to efficiently plan and activate retail execution campaigns. You will demonstrate proficient project management & analytical skills in order to utilise shopper research and run the end-to-end project process in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and therefore being a team player is essential to your success. You will also use your previous experience in budget management - tracking spend, processing invoices and raising POs - and briefing & managing external agencies.
The position does come with challenges in the form of a fast pace and high workload, so you need to be brilliant at prioritising what's important, and also dealing with ambiguity, as retail execution plans can be fluid & changeable.
