Our Client

Our client is a buzzing and exciting media content agency based in Central Birmingham. With an international team of 60 and a UK team of 40 strong, this secure, on-trend and current agency is perfect if you’re looking to build a career in Social and Content.

The Role

This Social Media Manager role is all about social growth and engagement! With a strong focus on Facebook (but a solid understanding of all social platforms), you’ll need to prove your ability to drive growth and increase followers through organic and paid activity. You’ll have your finger on the pulse when it comes to sourcing, sharing and cross-posting viral content for both UK and US markets.

You’ll know what strategies to deploy for quick, yet valuable growth of followers, you’ll be able to identify what content should be shared, and when, and you’ll be comfortable working collaboratively with a talented team of researchers and journalists to identify top content with viral opportunity.

Due to the cross over with International markets, specifically the US, a flexible approach to working will be vital to this role!

About You

We’re looking for someone with a proven background in Social Media Management. You’ll want to nurture and grow an already successful Facebook page - truly taking ownership of this platform. You’ll also be aware of recent changes to the platform, what that means for business and how to utilise other social media platforms, namely Instagram!

You’ll be happy thinking about strategies for growth (organic and paid), as well as getting your hands dirty posting and interacting with followers. This role is for someone that wants to be involved in every aspect of social management from content sourcing to sharing and measuring.

You’ll also be analytical and comfortable with Facebook Insights in order to really understand what content is working and why. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, creative and willing to work outside of normal working hours where needed. If you can demonstrate experience of operating in the UK and US then that’s a real bonus too!
