Commercial Marketing Manager

The Role:

This client has built a smart, simple product that’s loved by its users. Now they are looking for a passionate and driven Commercial Marketing Manager, to help them bring more great businesses and investors onto the platform.
You will report to the Head of Marketing and will also find yourself working across a variety of campaign types, giving you the opportunity develop your knowledge of multiple marketing channels.



  • Deploy successful integrated marketing campaigns and own their implementation.
  • Work closely with your colleagues in the Marketing Team to coordinate deliverables in order to run a timely integrated campaign schedule.
  • Operate a test, learn and optimise approach to engaging, converting relevant traffic and ultimately generating high quality leads.
  • Contribute to strategies and tactics to spread the word about the company’s products and drive qualified traffic.
  • Experiment with a mix of organic/paid/digital/traditional acquisition channels with the aim of constantly optimising the channel mix for each product.
  • Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
  • Work with your colleagues in the Marketing team to continually challenge, develop and improve the experience of the company’s prospects and customers.



  • A minimum of 2 year’s relevant experience in a marketing/commercial role
  • A minimum of a 2:1 from a top university
  • A proven experience in identifying target audiences
  • A genuine interest and understanding of start-ups and SMEs
  • Solid knowledge of marketing automation tools (ideally Hubspot), website analytics tools and paid digital marketing channels
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and a desire to continually improve and build upon existing processes
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets

Salary: £35k-£40k
