Communications Officer with experience of campaign management required for a large public sector organisation

Your new company
You will be working for a large public sector organisation based in Kidlington working within the Community and Employee Engagement team reporting to the Communications Manager

Your new role
You will be working 37 hours a week. You will have accountability for the delivery of all aspects of a campaign. You will lead a project team of 4 or 5 experts across the department and wider organisation to deliver an integrated strategy and be responsible from start to finish. You will need to help identify on and offline tactics and communicate campaign pitches to key stakeholders. You will also work closely with the research, insight and evaluation officer to monitor campaign development and evaluate its success.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will have 2-3 years' experience of creating and delivering campaigns. You will need to be creative and come up with new ideas, this will allow you to create different approaches that are targeted and have a lasting impact on the audience. You will also be inquisitive and eager to keep up to date with what campaigns are running in the organisation, the wider public sector and also private sector to be able to apply best practice your own work and be able to advise others. You should be a strong project manager who keeps on top of deadlines. Confident and dynamic, you also have the ability to motivate your peers, chair meetings and present ideas and outcomes to more senior colleagues/partners. You should enjoy working as part of a team but have the motivation to work autonomously as well as an innate ability to think on your feet. You will also be required to occasionally travel and therefore should have a full driving licence.
