A Research and Insight Assistant position has been created to meet increased demand within the Strategic Marketing team of this global company. Analysing customer data is vital for the business to drive forward and the expansion of this department is testament to the important role they play in the business. What we're looking for
First and foremost, we are looking for an experienced Insight Analyst. This is not a marketing role and unfortunately we won't be able to consider applications from marketers who have conducted elements of analysis within a traditional marketing role. You'll be a graduate with a minimum of 3 years' experience in analysis and you're sure that this is the career path for you. As well as someone with a head for figures and excellent attention to detail, we want someone who isn't frightened to suggest new ideas based on their findings. If your research has highlighted an area where the business should be focussing or brought to your attention an untapped customer base, then you'll be expected to speak up! This is because you have good commercial awareness and know that there's more to figures than just what's on a spread sheet. We'd like to see post holder eventually taking ownership of their own projects, so you'll need to be confident in working with product teams and have past experience in pitching for funding. You'll be IT literate, have a proven ability to interpret large data sheets, understand quantitative data, be confident when speaking to customers and display an excellent understanding of customer trends.
