What we’re looking for:

We are looking for an experienced hands-on Marketer / Strategist who can own the role. You will report directly to the board, using your marketing ability to promote the company and to create a framework for attracting quality leads to the agency.
You will have at least 4+ years marketing experience across a wide area of marketing disciplines, ideally having worked in a digital agency or a business-to-business service-led environment.

The role is a blend of marketing, commercial strategy and event management. You will position the CEO, the agency and our offering of digital innovation in front of the right people at the right level, in an intelligent, targeted and effective way. This is about building a reputation for the CEO and the business, creating inbound enquiries that are good quality, not high quantity.

This is a key role in the organisation and will have significant freedom, responsibility and autonomy, married with a corresponding level of accountability.

It’s also a unique opportunity to create and execute the new marketing strategy for the agency, as we start the next phase in our growth and evolution. We are going to get to know each other very well, work hard together, have fun and go on a great journey to drive the growth of the business.
In one paragraph, the role is to create, execute and evolve a marketing and content strategy, find new audiences, create the company story and manage it across social media, build strategic partnerships, organise networking and speaking opportunities, create events and corporate entertainment experiences, raise our media profile and finally analyse, test and report on the effectiveness / ROI of all our marketing activity… and an ability to write and create opinion pieces, thought leadership articles, sales collateral and case studies would be very advantageous.

+ At least 4+ years’ experience in a digital agency or business-to-business service-led environment
+ A degree in marketing, business studies or possibly even event management is important but not essential. What is essential is a passion for digital and a desire to work hard, have fun and get results
