Associate Director - Digital Marketing

A global organisation, with a site in Huntingdonshire, are currently looking for a creative and strategic digital marketing expert to join the team as Associate Director of Digital Marketing.  

In this role you will be shaping the digital marketing journey and proactively shaping the direction of the digital marketing strategy on a global scale, utilising your team to support you in this next phase of growth.  

You must have the energy, passion and technical skills to make this role very much your own, ensuring the company stays ahead of competitors.  

Your expertise and experience with help you develop the framework for digital marketing into a strategy which will be the differentiator from competition, driving the budget forward by showing measurable revenue growth and improved customer experience.  

Technical expertise will ensure you will be the expert on site for SEO, Google Analytics and PCC, keeping the company ahead of the curve with innovation and digital development.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the structure and process for digital assets and technologies including best practice
  • Utilise and develop the digital marketing team to become best in class, working closely with the wider marketing team to refine marketing strategies across digital landscape
  • Formulate and oversee initiatives that enhance customer acquisition efforts across entire marketing funnel – (A/B tests, content generation, social media presence and PPC, inbound and outbound digital marketing tactics, and SEO)
  • Manage, monitor and analyse all online marketing channels, making recommendations about resource allocation, spend optimization, and ROI
  • Ensure consistency across all digital marketing channels, managing and improving online content, considering SEO, Google analytics and online brand reputation, developing media presence to gain increased reach, interaction and expansion
  • Manage the digital budget and measuring digital ROI and KPIs to help develop the budget further.
  • Monitor competition and report to marketing department including recommendations
  • Identify key digital technology developments critical to growth

Experience & Desirable Skills:

  • You will have proven experience as a digital marketing leader with evident skills in designing and implementing successful digital marketing strategies
  • You must have solid knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices with technical and strategic experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, marketing automation and CRM software and ideally web design.
  • You will be an experienced people manager with strong negotiator with creative flair, energy and a real motivation to succeed
  • Ideally a Degree in marketing, digital technologies or relevant field
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM would be advantageous
