Your new company

Your new role
The role is available because over the next coming months there is a large event which needs coverage. The role is for a month or two with the potential to go permanent. There is also both a full-time and part-time position available. Your role as communications manager is to act as the PR Lead on all media communications related to key partnerships and events. You will be creating media plans through both traditional channels, as well as digital. This role is very much a proactive strategic communications role, looking to increase positive coverage regarding the upcoming events, you will therefore be working closely within both the Marketing and Digital teams as well as other key stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for an experienced communications manager, who has a proven track record with managing proactive PR campaigns through both traditional and digital media channels. You will not be managing a team, but you will be managing the campaign and all collateral related to the campaign. This means you will have to manage agencies and teams to match deadlines set. As I mentioned there is a high profile event which will need proactive media coverage, so experience with PR campaigns for similar size events is key. Because this role is based in London, we are looking for someone with a great understanding of the UK media, and able to create long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.
What you'll get in return
A competitive salary, as well as the opportunity to develop campaigns with a large not for profit organisation. Also as mentioned before there is the opportunity for the role to go permanent.
