Digital Marketing and Content Executive
This is an opening with an extremely well-established marketing communications agency based in the heart of Preston. With teams in PR, marketing, brand, design and print, and digital, they are focused on creating high-quality work for their clients, which include professional services, property, education, leisure, retail, public sector, and many more.
Your role will include project managing website development projects - creating plans and managing timetables / deadlines, as well as supporting ongoing digital marketing campaigns, including SEO & PPC, writing content and creating reports. Aside to this, you will be briefing web developers / designers and liaison with development team on projects, and working with clients to write content for websites, enewsletters and social media campaigns. You will also populate content into websites using systems such as WordPress, and be involved in daily client liaison and digital reporting & issuing of email marketing campaigns. As this is a full-service marketing communicating agency, you will have the opportunity to get involved in other marketing projects within their design and digital teams.
What we're looking for
It is very important that you possess integrated writing experience, and are able to write sharp website copy, editorial content, blogs and features, in addition to experience of using CMS systems such as WordPress, Campaign Monitor and Mailchimp. Experience of reporting / using digital / website analytics is important as is knowledge of managing social media channels and exposure to the uses of SEO and PPC is handy. It is envisaged that you'll have a minimum 18 months experience in an agency or in-house environment, ideally within a writing / content generation capacity.
