City centre based, our client is the umbrella company for 35 (and growing) franchised restaurants, owning the rights for some prestigious brands. Working within their head office, you will support a Marketing Manager and work closely with another Marketing Executive to develop and lead a marketing and campaign strategy. This is a really broad marcomms role and will encompass the day to day management of creative briefs (liaising with franchisees, creative, digital, and PR agencies), running social media channels, maintaining the company website including using CMS to write SEO focussed articles, supporting the planning and execution of events, from trade shows and conference to launch parties, and the writing of blogs and articles.
What we're looking for:
As mentioned, this is a busy role, with new restaurants opening at a really fast pace, so we do need someone who's gained a couple of years' experience within an all-round marketing role, probably from a consumer environment, with experience in food, hospitality, or leisure particularly useful. Any experience of working within an agency would also be of great interest to the client, as would any candidates who've worked with a number of different brands. You'll need to be a great copywriter, with experience of running social media channels and a really strong track-record of creating creative campaigns. You'll need to be organised, and have lots of charisma and good presentation skills.
