My client is a multi award winning content marketing agency with an amazing reputation for driving innovation and audience growth through aligning insight and creativity. Due to continued growth across their London office they have a fantastic new role for a Strategy Director to join their team.

Strategy Director - The Role

The Strategy Director is a pivotal member of the Senior Leadership Team and will be leading the development and implementation of the agency vision and mission, and bringing this proposition to life in their culture, work and market.

Working side-by-side with clients, the SD leads a small team of strategists/analysts/planners to ensure our work (for existing clients and pitches) always delivers squarely on the brief - with deep roots in audience behavior, smart insights, and an unstinting focus on performance. Their priority is to add real and measurable value to their clients' brands, and to achieve this their work must play a meaningful role in people's lives.


Lead the development and implementation of the agency vision and mission, and bring this proposition to life in their culture, their work and their market.
Work with clients to define business/brand goals and develop marketing strategies across traditional and digital channels based on consumer insights, trend analysis and business objectives.
Understand the key trends that drive consumer behaviour and affect the way that brands communicate - always living at the intersection of brands, culture, and creativity.
Directly manage and lead the strategy team on all key strategic deliverables, from: problem scoping, research requirements, qual and quant audience insights, coordination of analysis, synthesis of findings, communication of insight, interrogation of creative work, channel architecture, paid media models, and evaluation of campaign effectiveness etc
Work closely with the divisional heads to proactively plan and execute the proactive management and communication of proof of performance & or success measures
Work closely with the divisional Client Services and Content leads to provide strategic direction in growth activities, compiling or conducting research as needed, which may include competitive data, emerging opportunities, and consumer insights.
Work closely with the divisional leads and new business function at Seven to lead the strategic element of all pitches
Critique and advance the agency's marketing capabilities by identifying trends, understanding the competitive landscape, and crafting innovative programs.
Be a brand ambassador for the agency, regularly speaking at major industry events and providing published thought leadership within their industry, for their clients, and for the agency.
