Your new company
With a rich history in farming and agriculture, my client is a leading FMCG brand with multiple sites across the South. Due to movement and growth within the wider Marketing, Product and Innovation function we are actively recruiting the job of Marketing Insights Manager for the UK business.

Your new role
As Marketing Insights Manager your job is to drive sales growth for the brand and their retail customers by identifying opportunities to sell more across retailers and sub categories which they already supply. You will be identifying opportunities for the brand beyond where they currently supply by supporting the Commercial Team as they pitch for these opportunities, with compelling insight and arguments. Getting these opportunities heard and acted upon is at the heart of your role.
To do this, you will produce monthly data reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders illustrating performance, producing insights and identifying category opportunities to drive growth; work closely with retailer category functions, buyers and space & range planners to develop product categories, launch new ranges and implement promotional activities; lead the regular updating of the Category Gap Analysis; facilitate customer range reviews, with a key focus on delivering distribution, range rationale, display, NPD, sales and profitability growth objectives; and input into all NPD/ EPD feasibility gate documents, representing the voice of the shopper and consumer.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for applicants with a marketing, business-related or scientific degree and several years marketing, category or insight experience in an FMCG environment. You will illustrate a working knowledge of category, shopper marketing and analysis with branded or own label products, and have experience with software and reporting tools of market and consumer data providers - IRI, Kantar, AIMIA. You will also need a full driving Licence. This role requires significant reporting experience in a similar role.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to £40000 plus benefits, and have the opportunity to really take ownership to drive and develop market effectiveness through key insight and data provision.
