Your new company
A unique and world-leading higher education provider within the sports sector are seeking a Student Recruitment Officer to join their organisation on a full time, permanent basis at their site in Manchester. This newly created position sits within the growing Marketing and Student Recruitment Team who were recently shortlisted for Team of the Year at the Marketing Week Awards and as such this role would suit an ambitious individual who has the drive to deliver on student enrolment targets.

Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of student focused engagement and recruitment activities. You will develop strong, productive and long-lasting relationships with key contacts in sixth form and FE colleges as well as increasing the number of 'feeder institutions' through proactive networking in schools and colleges. You will be expected to prepare an annual calendar of events, coordinate and attend a variety of academic and student open events, forums and conferences, deliver presentations and assist with clearing, enrolment and graduation events across the institution. You will also produce factual and statistical reports to demonstrate ROI and impact, as well as providing competitor analysis.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role,you must be qualified to degree level ideally in business, marketing or sales or hold an equivalent, relevant marketing qualification. You will have a proven track record in meeting targets, delivering results and developing relationships. You will have knowledge and application of B2C marketing techniques. Additional knowledge of the UK Higher Education marketing is also desirable. You must have excellent written and verbal communications skills, be highly organised and the ability t work autonomously.
