Head of Search - PPC, SEO, Social & Display - Manchester City Centre

We are working with one of the North West's largest, disruptive tech business in their search for an experienced and skilled Head of Search. Based in state of the art offices in Manchester City Centre, the role of Head of Search will play an integral part in formulating and delivering the strategy and efficiencies to support the growth ambitions of this exciting business.
As Head of Search, you will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative culture where the customer is at the heart of everything you do. This high-profile role will have influence across the whole business and requires excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.

For this role, a salary of £50,000 - £70,000 is offered, based on experience, alongside a host of attractive benefits.

Head of Search: Responsibilities

*Define, lead and manage an innovative search strategy across PPC, SEO, Social and display.
*Drive consistent improvements across all channels to achieve agreed volume and profitability uplift
*Formulate and manage initiatives to improve efficiency or scale of PPC campaigns.
*Finger on the pulse of industry developments and best practice.
*Review existing operational processes, to remove unnecessary bottlenecks with a focus on speed and efficiency.
*Be responsible for the ongoing testing and optimisation of paid search actives and bid management strategies.
*Produce and communicate reports to the wider business to ensure awareness of performance trends.
*Consistently review competitor activity to benchmark performance.
*Influence and educate senior management team on the latest industry developments
*Be a digital ambassador across the entire brand.
*Budget and reporting ownership.
*Be an advocate for and new initiatives, gaining buy in from the Marketing director and finance through business cases.
*Lead your team by example - be passionate, motivating and inspiring.

Head of Search: Knowledge and Skills

*Prior experience on a senior search role (PPC, SEO, Social and display), gained in an online environment.
*Have a highly strategic approach; seeing the world through the customer's eyes, always thinking about the bigger picture.
*Experienced innovator and leader with a proven track record of delivery.
*Strong business, technical and leadership skills to deliver high quality, commercially viable solutions
*Passionate about search, in particular PPC, with an analytical mind-set and experience of working with large data sets.
*Hands on approach with great attention to detail - Lead by example!
