Junior Account Director / Account Director – Boutique Soho Agency – to £45k + bonus

Superb boutique, independent, integrated agency seeks an ambitious Junior Account Director or Account Director. You could also be a Senior Account Manager who is ready to step up to Account Director level.

The agency are a small, integrated agency whose discipline strengths include and aren’t limited to brand creation, marketing strategy, direct, digital, shopper marketing, promotions, advertising, brand advocacy and internal culture marketing.

The Account Director Role

The agency are looking for a capable and ambitious Account Director to work across a wide range of integrated campaigns and projects for the agency’s B2B and B2C clients at their Soho office.

You will report directly into the agency CEO who is very experienced in brand strategy so you will learn LOTS. In addition, you will hold a lot of autonomy in what is an unbelievable career opportunity and proper ‘hands on’ role.

You will work on 2-3 accounts for whom the agency have recently produced some beautiful brand, design, templates, videos, etc.

The incumbent Account Director leaves the agency on the 18th December and the agency will consider either a temp-perm or permanent candidate to fill the role.

The Account Director Required

You need to be really good at driving projects through, hungry to learn loads fast and be happy to muck in to get the job done.

The nature of this fast moving Agency and its clients demands a multi skilled, flexible, multi-tasking and utterly reliable approach.

The successful candidate will be expected to be able to:

  • Take client briefs and manage projects, end to end, profitably
  • Develop communication strategies and write internal creative briefs whilst demonstrating a good sense of adding and creating value to the client’s business
  • Manage agency and 3rd party partners and resources 
  • Own budgets and costings 
  • Meet and exceed client expectations of quality
  • Build enduring client and partner relationships 
  • Develop new business opportunities including developing bespoke credentials, proposals and completing RFI’s

You will be expected to be able to lead or contribute to projects than span the marketing spectrum from brand definition, advertising, (analogue and digital), direct marketing, internal comms, design and events. 

Required Qualifications / Skills

  • Proven experience preferably from an agency environment
  • A good quality graduate education is expected
  • Someone who is digitally savvy
  • Strong strategic creative and fiscal judgement

Personal Skills

  • The agency are looking for someone who is a self- starter who can work on their own initiative
  • Confident and collaborative with great communication skills
  • Reliable, easy to work with, a people person
  • Good at multi-tasking, with the ability to work under pressure with really good attention to detail across entire projects.

Up to £45k + bonus.
