Senior Marketing Manager - Specialist Claimant Law Firm
A specialist claimant law firm are seeking to strengthen their marketing function through the addition to the Marketing team of a Senior Marketing Manager, with extensive experience and drive. The role holder will be tasked with satisfying increasing levels of demand from internal customers and encouraging the legal teams to move from a reactive to a strategic marketing approach.
Working closely with and deputising for the Associate Director of Marketing and Business Development, the Senior Marketing Manager will lead and manage the operations side of the Marketing team. You will be responsible for assisting Partners with the development of their practice areas and generation of new cases and working with key departmental client groups to identify marketing objectives and proposing strategies and tactics to deliver against them. The role holder will enjoy a broad marketing role including contributing to the development and management of the firm's marketing strategy and delivering campaigns which address opportunities within agreed plans and budgets. The successful candidate will liaise with Partners and fee-earners to create a programme of compelling thought leadership events, corporate hospitality opportunities and staff events and will act as the custodian of all external marketing material to ensure it adheres to the firm's brand guidelines in terms of design, style, copy and quality and producing appropriate and compelling copy for brochures, leaflets, advertisements and web articles. Working with the Head of Public Relations, you will be tasked with developing and implementing the firm's digital and social media communications plan and strategy, to increase followers and client engagement and representation across all channels and will be responsible for creating, maintaining and promoting the firm's web site and managing analytics across all digital and social media platforms, providing monthly reports to enable the development of the firm's digital strategy throughout the year. Your day-to-day duties will also include management and development of the firm's CRM marketing database to ensure efficient and effective management of the firm's contacts. You will work with the Head of Information Services and Website Editor to enhance and maintain the accuracy and depth of information held on business contacts and manage email marketing campaigns to ensure the firm complies with all compliance and data protection requirements.
You will have a strong academic record allied to proven senior level marketing and communications management experience gained in a professional services environment, preferably within a legal firm, to include experience of independently managing marketing projects and activity from conception to execution on tight deadlines and generating and delivering marketing communications across multiple channels. Strong analytical skills, an ability to develop relationships and a capacity to use influencing skills to gain credibility across all levels within the firm are essential qualities. The Senior Marketing Manager must also be able to demonstrate strong people management skills and possess a genuine interest in working with a leading claimant law firm and passion about providing access to justice to all.
