This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual to grow a newly established department, which will form the central part of all future advertising. Our client is a giant influence on the market and is always ahead of their competitors, which is proven by the many awards they have won. This business that is famous for having some of the most talented technical team in the industry and with the booming digital development in the North West, the successful candidate will be part of a giant office in Manchester.

The Head of Programmatic will lead and manage an already established operational team, so minimum 8 years’ experience in digital with at least 2-3 years being focused on programmatic. The successful candidate must have an excellent knowledge of working in an agency and optimisation requirements of platforms like SSP/DMP/DSP/biddable. Our client is looking for a talented individual who possesses excellent interpersonal skills, where outstanding management and attention to detail are key skills to succeed in this role.

Main responsibilities for the Head of Programmatic Specialist

  • Create and implement programmatic strategies for the business
  • Train and manage teams within the company
  • Building relationship with core suppliers and publishers
  • Maintain and create relationships with internal teams and clients
  • Responsible for overall performance and profitability of key accounts
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Stay up to date on all industry trends and developments

Essential requirements of the successful candidate

  • Outstanding knowledge of the programmatic landscape and media platforms
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate a positive perspective on set tasks
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills to explain technical and digital concepts for key clients
  • Positive attitude and outstanding management skills
  • Experience with data technologies like Bid management, 3rd Party, 1st Party and Tracking
  • Great understanding of viewability and Ad fraud and the ability to tackle issues within programmatic
  • Proven experience in working successfully with clients on strategy, managing, optimisation and performance across all levels of programmatic channel solutions
  • Excellent understanding of all major advertising platforms and dynamic creative solutions
  • Proven negotiation expertise with the industry
  • Evaluate and report performance
  • Strong knowledge of the overall digital TV landscape
