Account Director (Maternity Contract or Freelance) – Advertising Agency - London – to £55k / £260 per day – FILL RECRUITMENT EXCLUSIVE!

The Account Director role

The agency will consider both freelance (day rate) Account Directors for an ASAP start (shorter term) and candidates willing to undertake a maternity contract of c 12 months on a pro-rated salary, working across a number of their accounts.

The salary band for the maternity cover role is up to £55k, depending on experience, and the maximum day rate is £260.

The incumbent Account Director leaves the agency in February but they are looking for an ASAP starter to ensure a thorough handover.

The specific accounts that you will work on will some way depend on the experience of the Account Director but one of the accounts will definitely be an online estate agency for whom they undertake ‘classic ATL work’ (OOH, TV, etc) in addition to digital.

You will also work on a ‘new win’ retail account – details of which are currently confidential but will be shared with you at interview.

For this client, the agency will be undertaking TV-led work, press, digital and brand re-invention. You will be involved in bedding in the account and eventually owning it when the incumbent leaves.

Other accounts you may work on include a leading alcohol brand (on strategy-led work) and an FMCG brand working on content-driven campaigns. Another possible account is one for whom they will be producing a new TV ad next year, alongside press and digital campaigns.

So it’s a great, varied portfolio of clients / projects at what is very much a fun, vibrant agency.

Overall, good ATL and digital experience is required to undertake this role and you will work closely with a Producer to support you with the day to day.
