Your new role
As Senior Head of Communications you are responsible for the development of campaign plans for the UK by making sure that each regional area meets its needs and integrity as part of the wider UK strategy. You will be overseeing all internal communications, translating key issues to readable content available to all staff, though accessible channels. You will also lead on the development and delivery of proactive media relations at a national, regional and local levels. You will responsible for (Indirectly) 3 Communications Officers, 3 Marketing & Communications Manager and 1 Internal Communications Manager
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a senior communications professional who has lead of the strategy of both internal and external communications plans. You will be improving the the quality of communications and the reputation of the charity, ensuring all communications are delivered to the highest standard. You must have a proven track record of this. A large part of your responsibility is the direct line management of 4 and the indirect line management of 3, so experience with line managing and managing staff budget is essential. Stake holder management and engagement is at the core of this role and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate this.
