An industry leading organisation in the education and training space is seeking a Head of Social Media to join them in a new role within the organisation.

The Head of Social Media will be a key figure in driving the company's digital strategy forward, working with senior leadership to decide on best practice across the company's products in pursuit of commercial growth. 

Responsibilities of the Head of Social Media
  • Directing strategy across paid and organic social for a range of channels. 
  • Audience segmentation and profiling across channels, looking at how channels are engaging within the different markets the company operates within. 
  • Working closely with colleagues across marketing and digital to leverage social media opportunities. 
  • Line management of two junior members of the digital team. 
  • Developing partnership relations and affiliate marketing opportunities where necessary. 
  • Setting brand tone of voice and guidelines across all channels. 
  • Developing social strategies to drive engagement among new and existing communities in support of wider company acquisition and retention marketing campaigns. 
  • Ongoing analysis of social media spend and strategy to ensure efforts are successfully working towards targets. 
Requirements of the Head of Social Media
  • A strong background in digital and social strategy management is a key requirement. 
  • Experience in marketing to professional audiences is highly desirable. 
  • Prior experience in paid social media management is essential.
  • Experience in audience segmentation for social media campaigns is a key requirement.
