This small dedicated team, working within a much larger organisation, pride themselves on the exceptional quality of the material they produce.
They operate a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where projects are clearly defined and are discussed in detail over the obligatory morning and afternoon tea break; if you're a fan of a fresh cup and a solid range of biscuits, and somewhere where you can really get involved in the hands on, day to day development of unique interactive elements that will bring the learning material to life, then this is for you.
Working within a dedicated e-learning team consisting of mainly Developers and Project Managers, you will play a key role in the production of new online courses in a range of academic disciplines. You will be responsible for the creation of courses in a wide variety of subjects, and at levels ranging from 10-week courses to Master's programmes.
Your main duties will be to produce interactive elements that enhance the users learning experience; you will be responsible for the ideas behind these elements and will also be working with the wider team to define which sections of courses require interactive elements added.
Your HTML and CSS skills will also be required for the development of the learning courses themselves.
This role will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to develop their skills in many areas, and to gain experience working as part of an award-winning team operating at the leading edge of online education.
You will be a confident Developer with strong understanding and application of front end development techniques, the ability to develop interactive elements, such as games for the web, is the most important aspect of this role. If you have experience of working in an e-learning environment that is beneficial.
If the fast-paced, ever changing world of agency life does not fit you and how you like to work, then this could be a very interesting opportunity to explore as you will be working in a very relaxed, friendly environment with the project laid out clearly for you into the future.
