Senior Account Manager – Top 10 Networked Agency – Central London – to £38k

Superb, multi-award winning international agency seeks a Senior Account Manager to work on a brilliant automotive account. 

The Agency

The agency is a leading direct and digital marketing agency who are part of a worldwide network.
Recently moved into brand new offices, people come to work for them because they can hone their skills there and develop their career within truly multi-disciplinary teams, working with brilliant specialists in what they do.   

Reporting and Context

The agency’s main role is to provide marketing and data strategy, creative and implementation for their CRM programme, working closely with the ATL agency, data and media agency. 

Their communications are primarily direct mail and email, however as the lead BTL strategist, they also work on many strategy-only projects.

The position reports directly into an Account Director and is a key hire for the team offering the opportunity to work across a mix of CRM communications ranging from a complex BAU programmes consisting of DM and email, through to integrated and tactical DM and email campaigns for car launches and events.

The successful candidate will need to be someone who is comfortable talking at a senior level about strategy using data insights and research as you will be discussing direct mail and e-CRM. 

The role and what’s required to do it well…

The role will suit an experienced Senior Account Manager looking for a new and exciting challenge. You need to have proven direct and digital marketing experience and enjoy working in a high paced and energetic environment. 

An avid interest in cars is essential as is a desire to work on a data led and very strategic account.
You must also be able to manage and build strong relationships with clients. 

A self-starter, you are someone who is comfortable working autonomously, using your initiative, and working as part of a large team.

Specific responsibilities will include:

To manage direct, digital and integrated campaigns liaising regularly with clients to ensure deadlines are being met and comments/feedback received in a timely fashion; supporting the Account Director on larger strategic projects.

Build excellent working relationships with client-side counterparts and interagency teams and liaison with all internal departments including Client Service, Creative, Data, Digital production as well as key stakeholders within the wider integrated agency teams.

To brief creative, design and production teams and ensure the proactive management of campaigns, not only successfully pushing projects forward and managing timelines but spotting opportunities and planning ahead to avoid pitfalls.
