Our client is an established agency with a focus on B2B and B2C corporate design and marketing communications. This involves corporate reporting, brand identity, marketing communications and digital projects. The Company has grown organically and now has over 100 employees across 4 offices: London, Edinburgh, Bicester and Birmingham; a very secure and progressive agency to belong to and grow within.

The Birmingham office operates in a large, open plan design studio which is based in the heart of the city. It has a busy, informal environment, where collaboration is encouraged between all employees and disciplines.

The Role

Working as part of the Account Management team, the Account Executive role is to support senior colleagues in the management and delivery of predominantly print-based projects, provide general support to the wider team and manage small projects single-handedly. If you are already Account Manager level, you will be primary point of contact co-ordinating all parties activity in order to ensure the complete on time delivery, communicating companies vision, strategy, direction and values through insightful and unifying corporate communications.

Specific to the Account Executive (Please get in touch for more detail re the Account Manager level):

  • Supporting the Account Managers and Account Directors
  • Working closely with the team to assist with proofing, internal co-ordination and systems
  • Will be allocated specific clients to manage and act as a floating resource across the team
  • Under supervision of Account Director, will take client amends and see these through the system
  • Preparing for and attending client meetings
  • Updating estimates, timing plans, proof filing (physical and electronic)
  • Assisting with creative briefs for the design team and subsequent feedback
  • Developing an understanding of corporate communications

You will be working on a range of accounts and supporting the successful delivery of projects across various mediums; and all with this friendly, supportive team to guide and mentor you.

About You

If you are already an Agency Account Executive (12-24 months), who is a passionate, intelligent and creative individual, you’ll fit right in! It goes without saying that this role will need first-rate communication, organisational and project management skills, alongside the ability to work with a team of diverse individuals.  Given there will be liaison between clients and the agency, you will be a confident and articulate communicator and relationship builder.
