This globally recognised brand are looking to hire a Digital Director to head up an ongoing digital transformation programme through leading an aspirational and dedicated digital marketing team in their Manchester office. As a business, customers come first and this is a crucial position within their senior leadership team to deliver their ambitious goals.
Your new role
As the Digital Director, you will recruit, mentor and manage a significant team, where you will develop new strategies to increase the firm's presence both in the UK and internationally. This is a strategic position where you will create and implement a vision, with a hands-on approach to management throughout. Leading this global brand, you will drive sales through digital channels by empowering the teams beneath you, working closely with each to develop their skills and attributes. You will report directly in to the CEO and will be a key part of the global leadership team.
What you'll need to succeed
A proven background of driving successful digital channels is essential and you will understand the blend of technical requirements versus customer needs. You will have experience of recruiting, leading and managing large marketing functions and will be prepared to empower them to develop and grow personally as well as with the business needs. You will need an ambitious and driven approach to working, having the ability to act strategically, while really getting stuck in to the daily tasks of working closely with the wider commercial teams.
