Your new company is huge, well-established leading organisation within its field. They are looking for an experience Community Engagement Manager to join the 7,000 strong workforce to travel around the UK representing this business and helping the grow.
Your new role
In your new role as Community Engagement Manager you will oversee and manage successful delivery of community and local stakeholder engagement and will be responsible for embedding the company's Community Engagement Plans within the business and identifying ways that these activities can be captured and measured. The role holder will be joining the Communications and Corporate Affairs team support the business in maintaining its licence to operate, protecting its reputation and supporting it's objectives through the delivery of effective, ongoing and targeted community and stakeholder engagement.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery of activities that enhance the company's reputation and support its priorities by understanding, informing, influencing and engaging local stakeholders, getting the right information to the right people in the right way. The role involves managing agencies; understanding and being comfortable dealing with the media, MPs, and local communities; getting out and about on our sites to create and maintain great business relationships; ensuring consistency of corporate process and messaging; supporting events and using content creatively to support business goals.
What you'll get in return
In return as a Community Engagement Manager you will get a salary of £34000 - £42000 + 8% bonus + car + other benefits
