With the company set to grow significantly over the next 3 years, this is the perfect opportunity to take the active role in the development of an already successful and established business. With large capital investment, this role will work directly with the Marketing Director to define and execute the growth plans towards increasing inbound leads via marketing channels, efficiencies and sales. The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, tech-savvy and highly experienced in marketing, ready to assist in enhancing this highly credited company’s development. This senior leadership role will be responsible for the day to day marketing operations; building and enhancing the inbound marketing funnel. To take on this role you must have strong technical marketing automation technical experience, be adept at data analysis and have a creative mind to ensure exemplary campaign execution.

Key responsibilities for Head of Marketing

  • Ability to segment markets and secure revenue streams through the implementation of partner channel strategies
  • Drive inbound enquires via various digital channels including SEO, PPC, LinkedIn and social media
  • Have a digital first mind-set whilst understanding and having experience across the full marketing mix
  • Work with the team to shift the emphasis and drive of new sales from a traditional outbound telemarketing function to a progressively digitally focused inbound model
  • Development of all the key processes and systems required to deliver market-leading CRM, marketing automation and email platforms
  • Shape and develop the marketing team, equipping and energising them at the prospect of delivering business goals
  • To take joint responsibility for hitting sales goals
  • Recognise and exploit the tremendous prospects of a recent digital marketing strategy
  • Experiment and develop current methods of working, implement marketing strategies and in the eyes of our objectives, position the company in the finest quality operator
  • To generate functioning and executive-level management information essential to account for success vs plan

Required skills and attributes for Head of Marketing

  • You must be educated to a degree level or equivalent
  • To have previous relevant experience in senior strategic marketing and commercial disciplines roles, ideally within a B2B environment
  • To show a ‘fresh thinking’ vision and credited knowledge to support this
  • A strong commercial acumen is relevant for the role
  • Previous experience in human resource management and development would be beneficial
  • It is desirable to have analytical and financial expertise networking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital for this role
  • The candidate must show programme leadership abilities
  • Have the ability to build relationships internally and externally, and to show excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
