Marketing Executive (Digital, Offline, Events, PR, Comms) South London, £28k + Bonus

This is a fantastic chance to join a world-leading provider of publishing, business information and data solutions for professional customers across all industries.

We’re looking for a marketing executive to work within the Events Marketing team, where they run over 25 market-leading conferences & 50 training courses. You’ll be responsible for planning, developing and executing cost-effective and targeted marketing campaigns, making decisions on tactics, setting deadlines and managing timelines. You will be part of a team of 5 events marketing professionals working alongside 12 brand marketers across the globe.

Job Purpose:

Responsible for conference & training marketing to generate delegate revenue and volumes to achieve the overall events targets.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop and implement cost effective, targeted marketing campaigns for the Events
• Manage budgets and ensure that spend is allocated in the correct places to maximise ROI
• Reporting and analysis of campaign results to demonstrate ROI
• Working closely with internal events team (producers, operations, sponsorships & delegate sales) about the planning, progress and results of marketing activity

Specific Responsibilities

• You will have full responsibility for all marketing channels for your event - emails, online marketing, direct mail, social media, advertising, sales liaison, PR
• Developing timelines to help maximise lead time and to ensure key prospects are hit regularly with different messages 
• Ensuring all activity goes at the planned time and deadlines are strictly met
• Performing analysis on past relevant delegate lists, selecting lists by trading off relevance, past performance, source, recency and plan balance 
• To be financially accountable for each event budget you control and to track and monitor spend
• Maintain a good working relationship with producers, briefing them about what they have to do for each conference (emails, telesales briefs etc.) 
• Building relationships with the wider brand marketing team to enable cross promotional activities
